Lambert takes Microsoft helm

Microsoft has promoted UK director of government affairs Matt Lambert to corporate affairs director, responsible for all CSR issues.

Lambert’s new role will see him joining the software giant’s UK board, reporting to UK MD Gordon Frazer.

His new remit includes ensuring that Microsoft’s programmes are accessible to disabled users. He will also oversee the company’s relationships with NGOs and charities in the UK.
Lambert takes over from Bronwyn Kunhardt, who left Microsoft in April to set up a not-for-profit consultancy.

Before joining Microsoft seven years ago, Lambert worked as a public affairs consultant.
