The Independent on Sunday has hired former The Sunday Tel­egraph columnist Martin Baker to write a weekly col­umn in the business section.

IPC Inspire has redesigned Racecar Engineering and launched a new feature, Databytes, to advise on handling the data created by modern racing cars.

Former Daily Mail fashion stylist Camilla St John is now deputy fashion editor. Candy Channing, also formerly fashion stylist, is now junior fashion editor.

Scott Williams, previously head of marketing for News Magazines, has been ­appointed publisher of Sky: The Magazine. Editor Lysanne Currie and her team have moved to News Magazines’ Chelsea offices.

Andrew Pettie has been appointed deputy TV and radio editor at the The Daily Telegraph. Pettie joins from Zoo magazine, where he was entertainment editor.

Asian Interactive Media has launched Asian Fashion, a new glossy magazine. Brianna Ragel is the editor.

Naomi Rovnick, currently business correspondent at the Sunday Express, is joining the Daily Mail as a city reporter. She will be covering the retail and property sectors.

Rachel Richardson has been appointed acting editor of the News of the World Sunday magazine. Richard­son was formerly show­business editor.

Samantha Shaw, previously reporter for Centaur’s Money Marketing, has been promoted to deputy news editor.

Sarah Baker has been appointed deputy fashion and shopping editor at She magazine. She was previously fashion assistant at The Daily Telegraph.

Dow Jones Newswires has appointed Adrian Kerr as news editor for telecoms, media and technology in EMEA, moving from a post as an enterprise editor.

Investors Chronicle, the FT-owned company news and analysis publication, has relaunched its website (www.investorschronicle.co.uk).

Incisive Media’s IFA Online has appointed two new reporters, Jennifer Bollen and John Bakie. Bollen was a junior reporter at Private Equity Internat­ional, while Bakie joins from the Alternative Assets division.

Hearst’s lifestyle website Hand­­bag.com has promo­ted Natasha Aitken to editor and Kate Creasey to deputy edi­tor. Tracey Lea Sayer has ­joined from Happy magazine as fashion director, while Danielle Radoj­cin has been appointed fas­hion editor.

The Northern & Shell-owned Daily Express and Sunday Express are the latest national news­papers to overhaul their web­sites.
