CEO Margot Raggett said she did not have one agency in mind at the moment. ‘It depends who’s out there. It is very early stages and we are not in serious talks, but we are looking at acquisitions,’ she said.
The agency, which registered a turnover of £7.6m last year, already has a five-strong healthcare team. ‘It’s a very profitable sector and not as big a part of our income mix as we would like,’ Raggett said. ‘Consumer health is an obvious fit but if an acquisition brings in ethical expertise as well, then great.’
Lexis has handled the consumer work across the Boots health and beauty range from April (PRWeek, 14 March).
