Online guide to communications

The Healthcare Communications Association (HCA) has launched an online toolkit to help health sector PROs better understand the regulatory climate in which they work.

The HCA Good Practice Guide on Working with the Media’ aims to pull together and offer advice on a variety of codes and regulations that apply across the sector.

Neil McCrae, head of UK corporate affairs for GSK’s pharmaceuticals business and chair of the HCA standards sub-committee, said: ‘As the pharmaceutical industry has come under increased scrutiny in recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the need to establish a benchmark for good practice in healthcare communications.’
