Cohn & Wolfe has signed up Keef Sloan as an associate director in an effort to expand the agency’s digital and entertainment offering.

Sloan comes from digital specialist Way To Blue, where he was a director for 18 months. His 15 years technology and gaming industry experience include stints at Kazoo and Empire Interactive.

He started his career as a technology and games journalist.

At Cohn & Wolfe, Sloan will work on new business opportunities, and on existing clients including Sellaband,  Jobsite and DVD Entertainment Group.

Digital & Technology MD Gladys Elia said Sloan’s appointment was part of a strategy to ‘expand the team’s skillset in different industry areas.’

Elia was appointed as C&W’s first UK digital and tech MD in November 2006. She has 21 years tech PR experience and is a former Cable & Wireless and Alcatel marketing director.

Way To Blue is recruiting for a replacement for Sloan. The agency has recently hired another new director –Adam Rubins.

He joined from Buena Vista International after a 10-year stint.
