Osman to leave BBC

BBC head of communications Sally Osman has unveiled plans to quit by the autumn.

She will leave after eight eventful years at the BBC, but her next move is not yet known.

‘I have been here for the full circle, from one director general to the next, from one charter review to the next and from one chairman to the next and it is now time to move on,’ she told PRWeek.

She reports into director of marketing, comms and audiences Tim Davie.
