STOP PRESS The Global Consul­ting Group, parent firm of ailing Citi­gate Public Affairs, is set to announce a major restructure. Details were being finalised as PRWeek went to press. It comes after Luther Pendragon founder George Pitcher was sent in to conduct a review of the business.

CONSUMER Viacom-owned chil­dren’s TV channel Nickelodeon has appointed Amazing Media to pro­mote the inaugural Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards UK after a two-way pitch (PRWeek, 22 March). Ret­ained consumer shop Frank PR is unaff­ec­ted by the hire.

CONSUMER Organic food brand Yeo Valley is on the hunt for its first retained agency so that its comms out­put will be ‘more consistent’. Head of marketing Ian Smythe is heading the review, which has shortlisted two ­consu­mer agencies.

AGENCY Natasha Williams has join­ed Iris PR as group account director. She joins from Ketchum, where she ran the Kodak pan-European agency network account.

CONSUMER Travel trade accommo­da­tion supplier Seligo has brought in Hills Balfour Synergy after a four-way pitch. As part of the brief, Hills Balfour will help launch a consumer facing brand.

BROADCAST London radio station LBD has appointed John Chittenden as head of PR at LBC. A former break­fast show host on Brighton’s Surf 107.2, he joins from Ambassador Theatre Group, where he was a press officer.

CONSUMER Chocolate company Montezuma’s has enlisted its first agency. Cambridge-based Honey PR will increase consumer awareness of its British-made, organic and fair trade chocolate.

CONSUMER Attenborough Saffron has been appointed by luxury food producer Bennett Opie to promote its Opies and Garden of England brands.

CORPORATE Alistair Peck has been appointed press and PR manager at Mercer Human Resource Consulting. He was previously communications manager at the advisory firm Vantis.
