The soft drinks giant has turned to FMCG specialist Mercieca PR for the UK brief worth around £150,000.
Mercieca is the first agency to gain from Coke's decision to put its business up for grabs. The pitch follows the soft drink firm's split from 15-year incumbent Weber Shandwick last month (PRWeek, 23 February). A decision on Coke's corporate and PA briefs is expected within two weeks.
Mercieca PR director Gemma Oakes said the agency would be promoting ‘product launches and product innovations'.
