Lilly PR shakeup brings new faces

Lilly UK has hired two comms advisers following a shakeup to its PR team (PRWeek, 2 March).

Felicity Slayford and Sarah Harvey Speck will be tasked mainly with product comms although they will be involved in other comms projects across Lilly's business to government and communications team.

They both report to comms manager Nick Francis. Slayford joins from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society where she was comms manager. She has also worked as a PRO for St Mary's NHS Trust and for Cohn & Wolfe. Harvey Speck previously ran her own freelancing business but her most recent in-house role was as PR manager at agro-chemical firm Sygenta.

Francis, who joined the pharma company in 2004, was promoted from comms adviser to his present position after the departure of Dominic Wake. Around the same time, comms adviser Jo Greenfield moved to a medical rep job within Lilly.
