Breastfeeding PR stunt

A group of St Helens women have been knitting breasts in a campaign to raise awareness among new mothers of the importance of breastfeeding.

The Helena Housing tenants have knitted the woolly boobs, which are used by breastfeeding trainers and peer counsellors as a teaching resource.

The mock mammaries may be used in hospital wards as a teaching aid.
