Children's Society in welfare probe

The Children's Society has brought in PR support for what it is billing as 'the UK's first independent inquiry into children's welfare'.

Lansons Digital Media has been briefed to raise the profile of the Good Childhood Inquiry through online youth media.

The charity is aiming to build up a ‘vision of childhood in the 21st century'.

A microsite, Mylife.uk.com, has been created where young people can contribute their thoughts and opinions.

The site comes hot on the heels of a Unicef report into child wellbeing, which last week placed the UK bottom of a 21-strong table of industrialised nations.

The account is led by former Revolver Communications director Matt Owen, who took charge of Lansons' new media arm last year.
