The Surgery bags UK and European business for Wrangler

Denim-brand Wrangler has appointed The Surgery to handle all PR and press activity in the UK.

The central London agency has also been handed a newly created pan-European agency co-ordination account after winning a pitch held at Wrangler's European HQ near Antwerp, Belgium.

The central London agency's showroom will hold the full collections for the brand's menswear and womenswear. On the UK business the agency reports to Nottingham-based Wrangler UK marketing manager Louise Vaughan.

The Surgery, which is 15 strong, specialises in fashion, retail and beauty clients. Its client-list includes G-Star, another jeanswear brand, which it promotes in the UK.

Wrangler has previously been promoted by agencies including Brandnation and Ketchum.
