David Hasselhoff uses Max Clifford

Cult crooner David Hasselhoff - currently starring in broadband provider Pipex's advertising campaign - is ­using Max Clifford Associates to handle UK media ­relations.

The former Baywatch and Knight Rider star is using the agency to promote his UKactivity, including new single Jump in My Car, released on 2 October. The accompanying ‘self-parodying' video is available on YouTube.

Pipex claims the single is being released owing to pressure by fans who found the song on the internet, following the success of its advertising campaign.

MCA is also promoting Hasselhoff's autobiography, Making Waves, which hit shelves this Tuesday.
