The Madrid-based group claims it is continuing its hunt for a comms chief after Amalia Blanco abandoned the role in April to pursue other interests.
Ferrovial is also looking for a media relations director after the post became vacant last month.
Ferrovial's search for new comms talent comes as UK airlines, notably British Airways, have asked the UK's Competition Commission to break up BAA's ownership structure to prevent the country's main airports from falling into monopoly ownership.
BAA is also facing lawsuits from airlines that claim it mishandled procedures to safeguard UK airports following last month's terrorist plot to bomb transatlantic jets.
