Fleishman chief exec steps down

ST LOUIS: John Graham has stepped down as chief executive of Fleishman-Hillard after 32 years.

The Omnicom agency has installed EMEA regional president David Senay as president and CEO, taking over day-to-day running of the company.

Senay, who pledged to ‘continue to create fresh, relevant thinking', joined F-H in 1984. He becomes only the third CEO in the 60-year history of F-H after co-founder Bob Hillard and Graham, who continues to act as chairman.

The agency has promoted regional president for the mid-Atlantic and Latin America Paul Johnson to  the newly created post of worldwide growth and president of public affairs. Johnson is a former general manager of F-H's Washington office.

F-H UK and South Africa regional director Kevin Bell continues to serve on the company's 21-member senior management committee, which aims to spearhead F-H's growth strategy and  foster co-operation between the regions.
