Eden and Cancan in agency merger

Cancan Communications is to merge with celebrity specialist Eden Lifestyle this week, creating 15-strong EdenCancan.

EdenCancan will be jointly headed by Eden founder Nick Ede and Cancan founder Nick Fulford.

The two agencies have actually shared an office since the end of 2005, under the umbrella of The Plum Network – a group undertaking administrative, HR and legal duties for both agencies, of which male-market specialist Leap Consultants is also part (PRWeek, 11 November 2005).

Cancan recently lost senior account director Sarah Gavin to social networking website Bebo (PRWeek, 16 June), and MD Jon Holt to Firefly Comms (PRweek, 14 April).
