Nike's Brooks in return to London

Global sports brand Nike has promoted Charlie Brooks to the role of head of corporate communications for its UK operation.

Brooks is currently senior PR manager for Nike Europe, based in Amsterdam, where he has worked for the past three years.

Prior to that he was a PR manager for Nike in London, working under Lindsey Sexton-Chadwick, whose job he will take over on 1 August.

Sexton-Chadwick is currently on maternity leave, but will return to head integrated marketing for Nike’s women’s product lines in January. Sexton-Chadwick joined Nike from Diageo in 2003.

In his European role, Brooks is responsible for the sportswear maker’s involvement in football.
