Interel in sale to UK holding group

BRUSSELS: PA consultancy Interel has been acquired by Hasgrove, a recently created British holding company, for an undisclosed sum.

The  Interel brand will be retained and executive chairman and founder Jean-LĂ©opold Schuybroek will  join the Hasgrove board. 

Clients include Ikea, Shell and Citibank.

Hasgrove is seeking to create a pan-European comms group. It owns ad and PR agency Connectpoint and acquired design agency The Chase last month.

The holding company is led by Godfrey Taylor, a former senior partner at accountancy Deloitte.
