Moss Bros in hire ahead of growth

Clothing retailer Moss Bros has taken on Diana Whitehead as group PR manager. Her priority is to rethink the group’s comms as it aims to grow from 112 to 200 stores over three years.

Reporting to head of marketing and PR Andrew Barclay, Whitehead will put  plans in place for each of its brands, which include Savoy Tailor's Guild, Hugo Boss, Canali and its hire function.

Moss Bros does not retain a PR agency, and Whitehead – previously comms manager at online lingerie and sportswear shop Figleaves – said her initial focus would be to strengthen the in-house team.

She replaces Katy Ashby, who left to go travelling. Figleaves is now recruiting for Whitehead's successor.
