Defra podcasts energy strategy

The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is promoting its first podcast to help communicate its sustainable development strategy.

The podcast has been created to celebrate the first anniversary of the strategy,  which sets out government priorities for sustainable communities, climate change and energy consumption.

The 15-minute downloadable file – outlining what has been achieved as well as Defra's proposed next steps – is being promoted by retained agency Amazon PR. It is targeting trade press and using Defra's online newsletter, SD-Scene.

The podcast can be accessed via Government website www.sustainable-development.gov.uk.  – and the blog by Defra director of strategy and sustainability Gill Rutter  – sustainablegovernment.blogspot.com.
