Wal-Mart takes on ex-Ketchum to boost institutional relations work

The Argentine affiliate of the supermarket giant Wal-Mart announced the appointment of the ex-Ketchum Fernanda Jiménez Azara as number three in the institutional relations department.

Wal-Mart recently hired Hernán Carboni, a public affairs expert from Grupo Clarín, to strengthen the department.

Wal-Mart has firm expansion plans for its operations in Argentina, one of which is the possible purchase of the Toledo chain. The company is continuing to work with Burson-Marsteller.
