CIPR event attracts cream of industry

PRWeek was happy to be invited to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' new offices in St James's Square last week. So much so, we took along former deputy prime minister and chairman of PRWeek publisher Haymarket Michael Heseltine.

CIPR director-general Colin Farrington, president Tony Bradley and president-elect Lionel Zetter were among the heavy-hitters in attendance.

In another corner, amid the CIPR chit-chat, Companycare director Kevin Taylor couldn't resist telling us how many clients (18) it managed to woo to Barcelona's 3GSM conference last month. 'We had to move our entire operation to Barcelona,' he said, smoothing over the fact that one of the clients present was the 3GSM Association, which organised the event.

Can you beat that figure, Diary asks? How many clients have you represented at a single conference? Send your answers to clientatconference overload@haynet.com.
