Audio firm picks PPR

Upmarket speaker brand B&W – whose Nautilus kit (pictured) costs £35,000 a pair – has hired start-up ‘virtual’ consultancy PPR Associates to broaden its appeal.

B&W is well known in specialist circles but wants more mainstream coverage ahead of its 40th anniversary and upcoming launches.

Dorking-based PPR was founded by managing director Nicki Perrin, formerly an account director at QBO Bell Pottinger and brand PR manager at British Gas. Her associates include Howard Bowden, formerly of Nelson Bostock and QBO, and Richard Dymond, who is ex-Centrica.
