Brando bags Sony Ericsson account

Sony Ericsson has consolidated its global PR support into Band & Brown-owned agency Brando.

Sony Ericsson head of global corporate comms Aldo Liguori said the agency had a brief to strengthen the firm's global brand message and implement more proactive media relations.

'Brando will work within individual country markets on product launches, industry events and corporate announcements,' said Liguori.

Separately, the mobile phone firm is in talks with agencies to promote its sponsorship of the Women's Tennis Association Tour.
