Disney TV readies 'affordability' drive

Disney TV has consolidated its £200,000 corporate and consumer briefs and awarded them to Nelson Bostock Communications after a pitch against Henry’s House.

The move ends relationships with the three previous incumbents, Henry's House, Trimedia Communications and Taylor Herring.

Disney TV V-P of comms EMEA Siobhan Kenny said she wanted to communicate the removal of Disney Playhouse and The Disney Channel from Sky's premium subscriber package to make them more accessible.

Trimedia, which did not repitch, worked for Disney  for ten years on consumer PR, with HH on corporate. Taylor Herring handled the launch of ABC1 but did not pitch due to conflict of interest.
