Ogilvy wins voice recognition brief

A firm that uses technology created by the US military is planning a campaign to sell its biometric systems to companies reliant on security.

Biometric Security, which  is installing its voice verification system VoiceVault at financial adviser AIB and the Bank of Ireland, has
taken on Ogilvy as its first PR agency.

The 'Get vocal about identity' campaign will position voice recognition as superior to better-known biometric systems such as iris scans and fingerprints.

The agency's brief covers the US, the UK and Europe, and the fees for the first six months are understood to be around £60,000.
