Unilever readies squeezy Marmite

Unilever Bestfoods UK is using Splendid Communications to promote its opinion-dividing spread Marmite.

The company is developing a squeezy bottle for the iconic brand, with a launch expected in April. Further product developments have been mooted.

Both Splendid and Unilever declined to comment on their brand plans.

Splendid first worked with Unilever on a project last year, promoting the launch of Peperami Noodles. The agency is continuing to work on the meat-snack brand.
