LCM eyes further health business

Hampshire-based generalist PR and marketing agency LCM has brought in Julie Dean, an associate director at health specialist HSD Communications, to win more healthcare business.

Dean joined nine-strong LCM after leaving Rickmansworth-based HSD – for which she had worked since its inception in 1998 – before Christmas.

She has taken up an account director role at LCM, which currently works for various dentists, and medical devices firm Archfact.

The main client of the agency – founded and run by Lizz Clarke – is accountancy firm Deloitte, for which it handles PR in the south of England.

Dean decided to move to an agency on the south coast for family reasons, having recently had a baby.

She formerly worked with HSD managing director and founder Lesley Scott at Holmes & Marchant.
