Guinness Records brief up for grabs

Guinness World Records (GWR) has put a contract up for pitch to promote its annual book and the corresponding World Records Day.

GWR, which hosted its inaugural World Records Day last November, has approached agencies to pitch for a dual promotion brief.

Events last year included publicising the world's largest underpants, made by anti-poverty campaigners in Bolton.

Taylor Herring PR, which has worked for GWR since 2003, is believed to be one of the shortlisted agencies.

The tender is in line with GWR's policy of reviewing the account each year.

Fees are believed to be around £50,000.
