Everyclick bids to lure donor surfers

Charity-donating search engine everyclick.com has called in its first external PR support in a bid to stand out in the increasingly competitive ‘click-through donation’ market.

Everyclick.com gives consumers a list of more than 500 charities and allows them to decide which receive the donation when they use the site.

Although other search engines such as don8.org also raise money for charitable causes using click-throughs, consumers have no say where the money ends up.

The site launched in June last year and MD Polly Gowers said it now needed to promote its unique method to a UK-wide audience.

Reporting to Gowers, Brave PR has been briefed to promote the site to consumers through print media and web and, crucially, persuade people to set everyclick.com as their home page.
