Hit or miss ...

A day in the life ... Tony Blair took another leaf out of George W. Bush's book this week by releasing a three-minute film about his life on the Number 10 website. Its depiction of long hours and stress-filled days attracted cynicism. The Daily Telegraph said it was 'prime minister-speak for "Come on, Cameron, if you think you're tough enough"'. The Express called it 'boring'. Meanwhile Conservative MP Mike Penning in the Daily Mail was outraged 'at the spending of taxpayers' money on an ego trip', while The Guardian lampooned: 'It's, y'know, a kinda video diary.'
