Sports group set for equality drive

Sporting Equals, a national initiative to promote racial equality in sport, is on the hunt for its first PR agency.

Funded by Sport England and the Commission for Racial Equality, it wants to raise its profile and help  minority, migrant and refugee communities overcome barriers to playing sport.

'Having just secured £2m from the Government, we want to develop a corporate identity for the programme,' said comms manager Hayley Meachin. The brief also entails boosting relations with various authorities.
