Friends of Earth in Co-op Bank link

Friends of the Earth has teamed up with The Co-operative Bank to give business clout to its climate change campaigns.

The bank, which has backed environmental campaigns in the past, has a policy of not investing in businesses involved in the use of fossil fuels.

Friends of the Earth's Combating Climate Change campaign will use The Co-operative Bank to highlight the issue via in-store and online messaging.

The environmental charity will provide information and research to the bank, which is also supporting The Big Ask campaign, launched earlier in the year to promote a low-carbon, nuclear-free economy.
