Solaris recruits Taylor for BMS

Former Ogilvy Healthworld account manager Joanne Taylor has resurfaced at Richmond-based healthcare comms outfit Solaris.

She has taken an account director role and is advising on European comms across Bristol-Myers Squibb's (BMS) medical imaging portfolio. She is also briefed to help win new business.

Solaris launched in March this year and now has eight employees.
The agency is run by former Pan Communications MD Rachel Terry and ex-Ethical Strategies MD Peter Carr. The duo are joint managing directors.

Taylor formerly worked for Ogilvy Healthworld in its Reading offices. Before this she held a comms position at Colwood Healthworld.

She previously spent six years at the former Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, where she was project and commercialisation manager.
