BPC&F wins Qatar investment task

The Qatar Financial Center (QFC) has hired Bell Pottinger Corporate and Financial to lure investors to the Middle-Eastern state.

BPC&F will target investment banks, insurance companies and law firms.

The global account is being run from BPC&F's London office by director David Telling. It is expected to use its worldwide offices to attract global companies.

QFC is a financial and business centre located in Doha, established last year by the government of Qatar. It is designed to attract financial services institutions and multinational corporations to the country, the world's second biggest producer of liquid natural gas.
