Virgo lures ex-Lilly UK comms adviser Guest

Virgo Health PR has hired former Lilly UK product comms adviser Meredith Guest in an associate director role.

Guest, who has spent the past 11 months on maternity leave, joined Virgo this week. She resigned from Lilly in September – where she worked with Virgo on the launch of ADHD brand Strattera and handled PR for neuroscience brands.
 
At Virgo, Guest will promote GlaxoSmithKline's Cervarix and AstraZeneca's Symbicort.

She has formerly worked at The Red Consultancy and Cohn & Wolfe,and was voted Communiqué Young Achiever of the Year at the annual PM magazine awards in 2003.

Separately, Virgo has promoted Neil Flash and Caroline Fielding to deputy MD roles. Both joined the company as associate directors.

Flash is ex-Cohn & Wolfe, while Fielding – winner of the Young PR Professional of the Year title at last week's PRWeek Awards (PRWeek, 21 October) – was formerly at Shire Health.
