Hollywood PR firm nets London boss

PMK/HBH, the most powerful celebrity publicity firm in Hollywood, this week unveiled James Dickinson as launch boss of its new London office.

Dickinson, a Brit, joins from a role as director of international publicity at Miramax International to open the office on 3 October.

He takes the title of vice-president/group account director, reporting to Los Angeles-based chief executive Pat Kingsley and London-based John Armstrong, UK CEO of parent company Momentum Worldwide.

Dickinson is briefed to win more non-US clients for PMK/HBH's personal representation division, which, according to its website, handles PR for celebs such as Al Pacino, Christina Aguilera,  and Jennifer Aniston.

Dickinson joined Miramax in 1999 and has promoted films such as Cold Mountain, Scream 3 and Scary Movie. Prior to his London-based Miramax role he worked for UK film PR outfit Corbett & Keene.

PMK/HBH also lists AOL, Motorola, Levi's and Louis Vuitton as clients.
