Luntz sets sights on British clients

Washington pollster Dr Frank Luntz is to target British companies wanting to do business in the US after selling his company to Omnicom in July.

Luntz, Maslansky Strategic Research  wants to be 'the primary supplier of language and message research'. Luntz will appear
on BBC2's Newsnight next Monday to forecast the result of the Tory leadership contest by measuring audience members' reactions to candidates' speeches, using wireless handheld devices.

Following the recent takeover, Luntz remains chairman and CEO to new president Michael Maslansky, previously president of MarketResearch.com.

Luntz said many of his clients had major interests in Britain, and that the UK 'often sets the trend for America and Europe'. He made his name as a political strategist in the 1990s. His company now concentrates on corporate work; clients include McDonald's and Visa.
