AZ takes ‘asthma bus’ to US cities

NEW YORK: AstraZeneca is targeting US black and Hispanic communities in an unbranded campaign to educate parents about the symptoms of paediatric asthma.

The Anglo-Swedish drugs manufacturer is taking its 'EveryKidz' bus tour to five cities with a high prevalence of the disease. It is working alongside local organisations and doctors in each community.

The bus itself will house three areas – learn, breathe, and play – where parents will be able to pick up educational material as well as have their children screened for asthma.

AZ is working with UniWorld Group and Bromley Communications, its agencies of record for African-American and Hispanic PR respectively.
