Borkowski and Revolver hired as RHM 'roster' shops

RHM, the food giant behind brands including Hovis, Mr Kipling and Bisto, is to split its consumer and trade work between Revolver Communications and Borkowski.

The agencies emerged triumphant in the aftermath of a two-stage competitive pitch process to become RHM's sole consumer-specialist 'roster' agencies. Financial Dynamics (FD) continues to handle RHM's corporate and financial PR.

The creation of the roster comes weeks after RHM's return to the stock market after a 13-year absence. The IPO valued the firm at almost £1bn.

RHM - the former Rank Hovis MacDougall - has also streamlined into three divisions: culinary brands, bread bakeries and cakes, and customer partnerships.

Agencies that have previously promoted RHM brands include Cohn & Wolfe and Weber Shandwick.

The former launched the Best of Both Hovis variety, and last month unveiled Hovis's Invisible Crust bread. Revolver was called in 14 months ago.

Borkowski MD Larry Franks and Revolver MD and creative director Martin Ballantine will be heading their respective agencies' accounts.
