Diary: Carrot lands brief for Je Joue vibrator

Following the appointment of Cow PR to represent Burger King and Cicada PR to promote National Insect Week, the trend towards using aptly named agencies has taken a fresh twist.

Carrot Communications has proudly announced its appointment to promote a 'programmable non-penetrative vibrator'.

Directors Richard Houghton and Kate Hartley were the natural choice when Je Joue (French for 'I play') wanted an agency to direct the thrust of the sex-toy's launch next month.

Carrot's press release assures us of the sophistication of the vibrator, which apparently dances to 20 pre-programmed digital files - it 'grooves (to) create a foreplay-like experience lasting up to 30 minutes'.

We can only hope Carrot's involvement will be enough to tempt Je Joue's target 'urban, female, 34-40 age group' to shell out for the £200 devices.
