Razor co-founder Parriss quits firm

Debbie Parriss, co-founder of crisis specialist Razor PR, has quit after six years to set up her own consultancy.

Chris Woodcock, with whom Parriss set up Razor after the pair left Countrywide Porter Novelli in 1999, said she departed in June.

Parriss said in a statement that she had quit to 'focus my professional efforts in new areas and change the balance of my work/life set-up'.

Both Woodcock and Parriss were group directors at CPN (now Porter Novelli).

Razor specialises in crisis work for food firms but also has agricultural feed processor Cargill Europe and ICI on its books.
