PRWeek reveals awards shortlist

APCO, Blue Rubicon, Frank PR, The Red Consultancy, Red Door Communications and Resolute Communications are all in the running for PRWeek's 2005 Consultancy of the Year award.

The agencies are this week named with other firms, PROs and campaigns shortlisted for 23 of 28 awards.

Hill & Knowlton and Weber Shandwick go head-to-head for the International Consultancy of the Year mantle. The Private Sector Department of the Year award will be contested between Coca-Cola Bottlers, Experian, GNER, Halifax, McDonald's Restaurants and travel firm TUI UK Thomson.

The shortlists have been whittled down from a total of 590 entries. The 2005 PRWeek Awards will take place on 18 October at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
