Unilever readies health drink push

Unilever Bestfoods is using Lexis PR to handle the launch campaign for Vie Shots, its range of fruit and vegetable 'one-shot' drinks.

The agency is flagging up the health benefits of the drinks - 100ml servings that equate to one fifth of the recommended daily intake of fruit and vegetables.

The launch signals Unilever's bid to capitalise on surging consumer interest in health drinks and is backed by a £6m UK marketing push.

Vie Shots, being rolled out under the Knorr brand, are available in Tesco stores.

The juice drinks come in flavours such as apple/carrot/strawberry.

Vie Shots becomes the fifth Unilever brand retained by Lexis, which also handles Dove, Bird's Eye, Persil and Surf.
