Packard Bell to focus on lifestyle

PC manufacturer Packard Bell is planning a PR assault on the lifestyle pages as it unveils new consumer electronic products.

The firm has replaced three-year incumbent Blanc & Otus with icas PR on an initial 12-month contract.

Marketing manager Jason Fletcher said the company's product range now included DVD and hard-drive recorders, MP3 players and flat panel displays.

He added: 'The next 12 months are critical for us and our focus is getting into lifestyle titles as well as consumer technology media.'
