Media Relations: Morris Homes to lure housebuyers

Midlands-based housebuilder Morris Homes is capitalising on strong regional property demand with a media relations drive.

It has appointed Manchester-based Citypress to co-ordinate the campaign for its five regional divisions.

Citypress MD Charles Tattersall said the campaign would target 'downsizers', families and first-time buyers by selling in news about housing development completion dates and lifestyle features in regional property supplements across the Midlands and Cheshire.

It will also use the media in other areas with high numbers of potential homebuyers to position the firm nationally as a private housebuilder with attention to high build quality.
