Public Affairs: LLM audits profile of health charity

The Health Foundation has enlisted LLM Communications to undertake a root-and-branch audit of the way the charity is perceived, as it looks to 'reshape' its communications strategy.

The study will track its image among NHS managers and clinicians, policy makers and partners, such as the Nuffield Trust, 20 months after it was formed, said corporate affairs manager Victoria Flint.

The charity distributes around £15m a year through programmes to develop exceptional nurses, clinicians and managers as 'leaders' to drive change and impart their knowledge across the industry.

Its remit includes developing health professionals to improve services to target groups, such as ethnic minorities.

LLM clinched the brief after a competitive pitch. Partner Ben Abbotts leads the account.

The charity continues to use Grayling to provide maternity cover for its head of public affairs, Natasha Gorman (PRWeek, 1 October 2004).
