City & Corporate: Lockwood quits comms industry

Capital MS&L co-founder Nick Lockwood has quit the PR industry, it emerged this week.

Lockwood, who along with MD Steffan Williams and director Richard Campbell founded the financial PR arm of Publicis-backed Manning Selvage & Lee in 2003, stopped working for the firm in March.

Lockwood told PRWeek he had decided to 'get out' of PR to travel, but added that he hoped to return to the industry in the future.

Prior to setting up Capital, Lockwood spent three years as associate director at the Hogarth Partnership.
