City & Corporate: Huntsworth sees growth in profits

Huntsworth, the PR group that is merging with Incepta, has posted a 130 per cent increase in operating profit for 2004.

The group, which owns PR firms such as GCG Hudson Sandler and Harrison Cowley, said operating profit for the 12 months to 31 December increased from £2.3m in 2003 to £5.3m.

Huntsworth said Harrison Cowley had a 'difficult year', dragging Huntsworth's 2004 group revenue down 0.5 per cent. Excluding Harrison Cowley, Huntsworth's revenue grew 1.6 per cent for the year.
