Healthcare: Seven Seas work by WS wins award

Weber Shandwick pipped Ozone to win the Best OTC Public Relations Campaign at the 2005 OTC Marketing Awards.

WS won for its work on Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil, beating Ozone's campaign on the OTC switch of Zocor Heart-Pro into second place at the annual event, organised by OTC bulletin.

Lexis Public Relations was third in the category for its work on Pro Plus for Roche Consumer Health, while Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster was fourth for its work on GlaxoSmithKline's Flixonase Allergy.

Jane Stevenson Public Relations, meanwhile, won Best OTC Marketing Campaign on a Small Budget for work on Thornton & Ross's threadworm treatment Pripsen.

The ceremony has 18 categories overall: GSK Consumer Healthcare won OTC Company of the Year; its NiQuitin brand was OTC Brand of the Year.
